Bed and Breakfast Dartmoor, Hoo Meavy Barton

Dartmoor Bed and Breakfast, About Us

Alan and Jo have always shared a love of walking, camping and the outdoors. Between us we have been on Outward Bound courses, sailed tall ships, cycled around France, walked some of the South West Coast path, obtained Silver and Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s awards and, most recently (2007), were both pleased to add a Walking Group Leader Certificate to our achievements. In 2003 Jo passed her ITEC Diploma in Holistic Massage, followed in 2005 by a certificate in Advanced Massage and Remedial Techniques (see our Revive page for details).

We always dreamt of setting up a B and B and sharing our love of walking with others. In 2008 we moved to Hoo Meavy Barton offering Bed and Breakfast, on site massage and days walks. In 2009 we adopted a rescue Dalmatian, called Charlie Brown, who loves to try out new walks with us, but will only come along on a guided walk if you really want him too!
